Installing prefinished, solid wood flooring, cypress. Location: U.S., Colorado, the house was in the mountains.

The site is located in the U.S., about 160km north of Denver, Colorado, high up in the mountains. The hardwood is solid, prefinished and has different widths - 3 inch, 4 inch and 5 inch as well of varied lengths - from one foot to seven feet. The installation of the flooring is done by nailing it to the base and alternating rows of different widths. The stairs leading to the front door, as well as the ones on the sides, are covered with the same type of flooring. The wood used is cypress which gives off an incredible smell when cut.
